Why not inject creativity in product instruction?

I have been an art director, senior copywriter and creative director. I have taught iambic pentameter, dead white male authors, dead white mail poets and son highfalutin technology such as AVID
- When it’s a chore to create, it becomes a chore to follow. People tune out. Who wants that?
- Good creative teaches. Good teaching is creative. Look at the Dummies series. They can make doggie vomit engaging.
- There are well established, rarely-if-ever debated “rules” for both teaching and creative. Manuals and such use the principles of neither.
- Bad instruction is a product-destroying, time-wasting, profit-killing, carbon-spitting mess.
So I’m offering this challenge to all people out there in productland: Test drive the world’s first Product Instruction Creative Director.
